Goldengirl Lands Full Time Creative Role

Published on July 25, 2018

It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for 23-year-old Jade Delaney, aka #fearlessgirlbristol. Back in early May she turned up at our Bristol offices covered from head-to-toe in gold and faced down the building, in the same pose as the famous ‘Fearless Girl’ statue on Wall Street, New York.*

Our Bristol office Managing Director Andy Reid and John Elsom, Group Creative Director, offered her a month-long work placement on the spot. The news went viral with news outlets in the UK, US and all around the world jumping on the story of the advertising graduate who took a fearless approach to get noticed.

The paid placement was extended and following a great two months, Jade has been rewarded with a full-time position as a junior conceptual creative, a role which she has gratefully accepted.

Talking about her experience Jade, said: “It’s been an unbelievable couple of months and it just shows that it is worth putting yourself out there to achieve your goals. I am so excited about being a fully-fledged member of the creative team.”

Andy added: “Jade has been great since she arrived, she has taken it all in her stride, just last week she was presenting a client case study in a new business meeting. We are really pleased that she has made the grade and is now embarking on an exciting career with us.”

*“Fearless Girl” was originally created by our sister agency McCann New York on behalf for State Street Global Advisors and unveiled on International Women’s Day in 2017 in the financial district of NY. NY City just announced a permanent placement for the statue across from the NYSE.
