McCann Central appoints Gideon Wilkins as Head of Research

McCann Central has appointed Gideon Wilkins – formerly Global Brand Guidance Director at Kantar – as Head of Research across Birmingham, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Leeds.

Gideon, who amongst his 17 years of experience has spent the last five leading the global brand guidance system for Unilever at Kantar, will head up our integrated research offering which includes qualitative and quantitative research.

Speaking on his move to McCann Central Gideon said: “Sometimes, working in research agencies gives us a tendency to be on the outside, looking in. I wanted to take a step closer to the connections brand builders are making with the consumers to be able to be more directly affect change.

“McCann’s capabilities and integrated offering is truly impressive and it’s great to be able to pop upstairs to chat with our social team about better ways of engaging with people directly through chat-bots, or speak to our digital specialists who can bring in the latest technical innovations.”
